The architecture of a building is not just about aesthetics, it is a narrative of time and space. In the spirit of the centenary of the Bauhaus, an influential German movement which focused on minimalism and functionality, "Modern Resonance" pays tribute to the hardware and software of a power station – its utilitarian principles and generations of workers.
Join Singaporean artists Li-Chuan Chong, Deborah Emmanuel and Alecia Neo as they reawaken Pasir Panjang Power Station with music and artistic appropriation in the form of a performance. "Modern: Resonance" invites you to explore this modernist building in a way that illuminates its architecture and history.
This programme is organised by the Goethe-Institut Singapore and will have 2 sessions. Sign up for 1 of them via the link provided below.
