WORKSHOP SERIES: "Wayward Truths, Beautiful Experiments" with ants chua and Kristian-Marc James Paul

  • Sing Lit Station 22 Dickson Road, #02-01 Singapore, , 209506 Singapore (map)

Creative nonfiction provides us with a site of imagination and cognition. It is a political site that centres the journey and the method, where questions and points of tension are prioritised over sanitary answers and conclusions. It is a space where discourses and theories can be turned into explorations of the body, of the self; where histories are rewritten and reclaimed.

Join writers ants chua and Kristian-Marc James Paul in “Wayward Truths, Beautiful Experiments”: a 6-week reading and writing space focused on creative and speculative nonfiction. The space will centre inquiry, exploration and the democratisation of knowledge-generation. Participants will be encouraged to facilitate a session each. The course aims to explore past and contemporary works of creative nonfiction and to discuss participants’ own writing, practice and relationship with nonfiction.

The first session will take place on the evening of 4 Sep. Deadline to sign-up is 9 Aug. To apply, click on the event link provided below.
