EXHALE: An Anthology of Queer Singapore Voices had its online launch in 2021, during the privations of the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, two years later, this iconic anthology of next-generation multilingual Singapore queer writers is nearly sold out… but there’s still a handful of copies available, and we’re determined to have them go out with a splash.
So join us for an extremely delayed live book launch of EXHALE, featuring writers and editors from the anthology as they perform their work and respond to the anthology as a whole. What does the future of queer SingLit look like? What connections does it have with our heritage? And does it have the activist power to lead to social change?
Organised by Stephanie Chan and Ng Yi-Sheng, with readings by Andrew Kirkrose, ArunDitha, Atifa Othman, Daryl Qilin Yam, Jack Xi, Max Pasakorn and nor.
