This free workshop helps creative writers make a hybrid genre text, co-presented by two of Singapore’s leading, award winning writers, Sharlene Teo and Jing-Jing Lee.
This workshop will start with a catalyst event (i.e. a murder, a separation, a sudden death etc). Participants will then ruminate on time and history in relation to inherited trauma (the body keeps the score, story being impossible with history and vice versa).
Participants will be taught how to explore ideas and produce a segment of work with potential that they can take away and shape into something larger and deeper.
Registration closes: 19 July 2022, Tuesday, 5 PM.
