16th December marked the day of a momentous victory for Bangladesh. 
On this day in 1971, Bangladesh won the independence war. On behalf of Bangladeshi expatriates, join the Singapore Bengali Literature Council in commemorating this day in respect of those who died and sacrificed themselves in the 9-month long war.

This event, themed "OUR VICTORY, OUR POETRY" will feature poems of this liberating war and other assorted poems. It will be moderated by Md Mukul Hossine.
