In this panel, fictionists Daryl Yam, Ally Chua and Ng Yi Sheng along with moderator Natalie Wang explore Singapore urban legends that take place in hotels, hospitals, lift landings, schools and HDB flats. First, a campfire roundtable – we’ll share the stories we have heard before and invite the audiences to share their own too. Then, we will discuss questions like – are Asian ghosts scarier than Western ghosts? What are some defining archetypes of say, Singapore horror versus Thai horror versus Japanese horror?
