What can signs or advertising tell us about ourselves and the places dear to us? Design educator and typographer Vikas Kailankaje will be conducting three walking tours that explore the twentieth-century history of Singapore through lettering and typography, found on the street and in commercial spaces.
Facilitated by 2024 Jalan Besar Fellow Tse Hao Guang, our three unique walking tours across Orchard, Jalan Besar and Kampong Glam will take place on 6, 13 and 20 Apr respectively.🚶 Be quick to get your tickets – only 12 slots are available per tour! Attendees are advised to wear appropriate clothing and footwear, and to bring a full bottle of water.
