Critical Alliances: Heterotopia Library | Make Your Own Book Workshop (Singapore Art Week)

  • Singapore Art Museum (Corporate Office and Residency Studios) 39 Keppel Road, #03-07 Singapore 089065 Singapore (map)

Make Your Own Book Workshop is a 2-hour session where artist-publisher Lingying will take you through the creation of your own personalised book.

Pick between an “ABC book” or a “Book of Days” – a versatile calendar, scrapbook and journal – and enjoy the process of self-discovery and expression, while creating a meaningful book.

This self-guided workshop welcomes all ages.

Heterotopia Library is a nomadic artistic research station which first took shape when Lingying and Winnie began their residency with SAM in July 2023. It is the second iteration of the Heterotopia series, a curatorial project that explores and evolves through rhizomatic spaces – transforming and shifting across a variety of activations through workshops, book launches, and conversations. Across the Singapore Art Week (SAW) weekends, Heterotopia Library will host its final slew of activations and thereafter celebrate its finale on Sunday, 28 January.
