Migrant Writers of Singapore Storytelling Festival 2022

  • Bishan Public Library 5 Bishan Place Singapore, 579841 Singapore (map)

Everyone loves stories and we all are natural storytellers. Stories are recognizable patterns and in those patterns we find meaning. We use stories to make sense of our world and to share that understanding with others. They are the signal within the noise. So powerful is our impulse to detect story patterns, that, we see them even when they're not there.

This Storytelling Festival 2022 will be graced by migrant and local storytellers who will come together to share and fill the stage with different stories that we truly believe could be meaningful to create a more compassionate world, a safe space to be heard, to spread the message of oneness and love towards every human being.

There will also be a uyoga session as part of our initiative of promoting mental health awareness and self-care towards every individual.

The first part of the program will be hosted by Karisa Poedjirahardjo and the second part will be by Pardeep Toor. The event will be livestreamed as well at Migrant Writers of Singapore Facebook page.
