How To Break A Window II

  • 72-13 72 Mohamed Sultan Road Singapore, 239007 Singapore (map)

How To Break A Window II (HTBAW) is a nod to the winners of the 24-Hour Playwriting Competition, presented by T:>Works.

This year’s HTBAW comprises two events:

  1. A triple bill of three productions: Spotlighting Amanda Chong (#WomenSupportingWomen) and Melizarani T.Selva (Kudumbam) from the 2021 edition of the competition and Yin Mei Lenden-Hitchcock (Green Leaves) from the 2019 edition. Unpacking issues and trends in hashtag culture or reflecting on the limits of speaking truth to power, each piece is brilliantly written, urgent, relevant and achingly honest.

  2. A Youth Forum: With staged readings of Sarah Zafirah (Effets de Soir) and Tania Lam (80s Power Hour) including a moderated discussion on developing youth writing by Ang Kia Yee.
