Head over to the Esplanade for Foreword February, a month of free performances where spoken, narrated, musically interpreted—words, stories and literary texts take centrestage!

Nusantara Arts presents a collection of poetry-turned-music. The selected works will be presented by the acclaimed Aidil Akmal who will interpret each into something unique.

The poetic musical works are composed by young composers such as Danial Ariffin Azman, Syafiqah ‘Adha Sallehin and Zulkifli Mohamed Amin, who is also the programme’s Artistic Director. 

About Nusantara Arts
Nusantara Arts was established with the aim to bring together passionate young musicians who endeavour to promote the arts and culture. They take influences from the Malay Archipelago and mould them into something that is uniquely Singaporean. Their music is manipulated into traditional jazz and acoustic folk.
