Missed the book launch of Dream Storeys by Clara Chow at this year's Singapore Writers Festival? Fret not! Here's another chance to hear from the author as she shares from her collection of short stories.
Also present at the Meet-the-Author Session are architects Mark Wee and Yen Yen Wu – both well-known figures in the architect and design circles.
Clara Chow, a local author and former journalist from The Straits Times, has published a new book titled, Dream Storeys, recently launched at the Singapore Writers Festival 2016. It is a stunning debut collection of nine tales examining an alternative Singaporean landscape – one that exists only on paper, and the people who might be in it.
In putting Dream Storeys together, the author interviewed nine architects, asking them to share about their dream buildings, and design philosophies. A hybrid of journalism and fiction, Dream Storeys documents the voices of urban visionaries, while taking their ideas into inventive, evocative new territories.
