Create your own storytelling game! Explore methods and processes of how TTRPG (tabletop roleplaying game) are created!
In this event organised by the Singapore Book Council, participants will be introduced to the methods and processes of how TTRPG (tabletop roleplaying game) writers and designers build fantasy worlds and turn them into playable, interactive experiences. Participants work in groups to workshop their own stories to create storytelling games of their own.
From video games to tabletop board games, serious games to casual mobile games, people across the globe are captivated and engaged by games in their myriad forms. For many players, the narrative and storytelling in the games they play are a key part of why they are compelling. But what makes a narrative ʻplayableʼ, and what even is a game anyway?
