WORKSHOP: "Paghasik ng Munting Katha (Flash Fiction for Beginners)" with Victor Fernando R. Ocampo

  • Sing Lit Station 22 Dickson Road, #02-01 Singapore, , 209506 Singapore (map)

Stories are magic, they can create other worlds, emotions, ideas and they can even change both individuals and societies. They can make us laugh, cry, jump with fright and comfort us with a happy ending. They can help us stand up for ourselves. They can help us heal.

Everyone has a story to tell, and when we hear others’ stories, we begin to understand and empathize with them. This makes it imperative for us to hear different stories – as well as to also share our own story with the world.

“PAGHASIK NG MUNTING KATHA: MAS MABUTING PAMUMUHAY SA PAMAMAGITAN NG PAGKUKUWENTO (Flash Fiction for Beginners: Better Living Through Storytelling)” is part of a migrant worker creative writing workshop series presented by Migrant Writers of Singapore and supported by Sing Lit Station and The Majurity Trust.

Interested participants may WhatsApp Julie at +65 8302 4639 to register a slot for the workshops. Slots will be given on a first come, first served basis. Please note that this workshop will be conducted in Tagalog.
