Writing Chinese Poetry with HuaiChen Wu

  • NTU@one-north 11 Slim Barracks Rise Singapore, 138664 Singapore (map)

In this four-week Foundation to Intermediate course, Professor HuaiChen Wu offers an encouraging and informative workshop to help writers write their own poetry in the Chinese language. This course will be conducted in Mandarin Chinese.

Over four workshop sessions, we will take a deep dive into craft, process, and the techniques used in writing Chinese poetry. Designed for Foundation to Intermediate writers, this course will provide an opportunity for writers to develop their own poems in Mandarin Chinese in a friendly, encouraging environment. Please come prepared to fully participate in discussions—and to learn about poetry in Mandarin Chinese.
