The Singapore Poetry Slam is serving hot and spicy poems on Sept 1. Whether writing about food, relationships, music, clothing, climate or regime change spicy words spoken with attitude are likely to be true because the tongue can’t hide when chilli sauce is on the table.

SLAM AND OPEN MIC RULES: Slammers compete in up to 3 rounds - one poem per round of up to 3 minutes each. No music backing allowed during the slam. Slam Judges will be selected from the audience. Points deducted from 3:10min. Don’t have a hot and spicy poem handy? No problem. Present what you like.
