Ever wondered what librarians do? In this series of monthly talks, find out what makes our librarians tick as they share highlights of their work from the collections of the National Library.
Senior librarian Juffri will regale the audience with stories and highlights from the Asian Children’s Literature collection.
The National Library is home to the Asian Children’s Literature (ACL) collection, a treasure trove of more than 13,000 volumes from China, India and Southeast Asia. It also features a rich collection of folktales, including a number of popular stories – retold by different writers and published in various years – that resonate with both young and old. Senior Librarian Juffri Supa'at will regale the audience with stories and highlights from this collection.
