Memorable characters drive fiction. If you can put together compelling portraits of the main actors in your story, you'll keep readers turning the page.
In this workshop, participants will learn some techniques and strategies to help them achieve just that. Through a series of close readings and accompanying writing exercises, we’ll explore the core issues of character building. We’ll focus on critical elements such as voice, interiority and memory, and we'll also look at how these relate to pace, dialogue and plot.
This is an online zoom, creative writing workshop and the organisers will send registered participants the Zoom link around 18 February 2020.
