NTU Creative Writing presents the second instalment of our online open mic night! 

 From Audre Lorde’s Your Silence Will Not Protect You: “My silences had not protected me. Your silence will not protect you. But for every real word spoken, for every attempt I had ever made to speak those truths for which I am still seeking, I had made contact with other women while we examined the words to fit a world in which we all believed, bridging our differences.”

In an increasingly digital world where voices ring louder than ever (whether for justice or injustice), where do the voices of women fit? In realms both public and personal, our writers explore how women fit in today’s society, or the world they imagine it to be.
