IF WALLS COULD TALK: The Fever Dream Edition

Poets and poetry lovers, If Walls Could Talk is back! For a one-time, super special, beyond borders #StayAtHome edition via Facebook Live. They’ve gathered their poetry friends from all over Malaysia and the world for this power-packed showcase!

Their slate of featured poets are:

  • From Malaysia: Azizan Afi, Bernice Chauly, Deborah Augustin , Dhabitah Zainal, Dhinesha Karthigesu, Gwendoline Esther, Katrina Maliamauv, Kulleh Grasi, Minxi, Veshalini Naidu, Wani Ardy

  • From everywhere: Abdul Salam (Syria), Aditi Angiras (India), Bani Haykal and Ila (SG), Cheryl Salvador (PH), Carlos Andrés Gómez (USA), Stephanie Dogfoot (SG), Omar Musa (AUS), Will Beale (AUS)

  • With musical guests: Takahara Suiko, Santosh Logandran

  • Hosted by: MELIZARANI T.SELVA & LILY JAMALUDIN & AFI NOOR

In this edition, they are aiming to raise RM5,000 to Refuge For The Refugees and Tenaganita in their efforts to support refugee families during this MCO period. The majority of refugees depend on daily wages to support themselves and their families. With the Movement Control Order in place, many of them have lost their sources of income and are struggling to put food on the table.
