Join the Arts House for this discussion, led by Cheong Suk Wai, on the relationship between food, culture and technology.
In his acclaimed book based on his own teachings at Harvard, Michael Sandel offers a rare education in thinking through the complicated issues and controversies we face in public life today from marriage, euthanasia, abortion, national service and the moral limits of markets―Sandel discusses the big questions of political philosophy and current issues to show us how a philosophy can help us make sense of politics, morality, and our own convictions.
IMHO is a meeting place of ideas and discussion for the vast body of international non-fiction writing, whose ideas and problems has shaped the modern world since the beginning of the 20th century. Each session examines one seminal non-fiction work and will be moderated by Cheong Suk-Wai.
