Join Eva Wong Nava, author-in-attendance on Sat, 27 April, for a yummy brunch and a candid conversation about diversity and writing.
As an author dedicated to highlighting neurodiverse voices and experiences, Eva will be happy to share her experience of writing Open: A Boy’s Wayang Adventure, and the process of crafting the character of Open, a 10-year-old boy on the autism spectrum. Other topics she'll love to talk about: the challenges of writing diversity into children’s books, the writing process for children’s books, and expanding the notion of diversity.
Come by any time between 11AM - 12PM to chat with her (over savory wraps, cakes, coffee!) and leave with shared ideas to make a difference to inclusivity.
If you have any access needs, please contact Ethos Books. This session is held in conjunction with Autism Awareness Month.
