Stephanie Chan commemorates the start of their 5th year doing stand up and their 11th year performing poetry with her first solo show in Singapore, about growing up and trying to hold on to your dreams, and the strange adventures that ensue as life tries to pry them away.
It's got elephant seals, anemones and cat-feeding superheroes. Weird hookup stories and giant snake stories. It's show that's so indecisive it couldn't decide whether to feature stand-up comedy or funny poetry so chose both because of course. With some added storytelling included.
Stephanie “Dogfoot” Chan has opened for both local and international comedians including Kumar, Aidan Killian, and John Robertson and has featured at the Singapore Comedy Fringe and StoryFest 2018. She came in top 3 in the Singapore heats of the Magners International Comedy Competition 2018. She currently hosts and organises Siao Char Bors Comedy which promotes women and LGBTQ comics in Singapore. She has won national poetry slams in the UK and Singapore. Her first-ever solo show, Foreigner Go Home (With Me!) premiered at the Edinburgh Free Fringe in 2012.
The show is approx. 1 hour long. Early bird tickets are $15; tickets at the door are $25. More details in the ticket link provided below.
