Spend an evening reading between the lines, with poet Marc Nair and editor Mrigaa Sethi, in an intimate and interactive discussion about Marc's newest poetry book Vital Possessions.
Offering a behind-the-scenes look into the writing and editing of poetry, the duo will be talking about the evolution of the poems in the book, from the initial drafts written during Marc's Gardens by the Bay residency till its final published form today.
They will also be talking about:
- How poetry forms can be used to express certain topics.
- How some words were chosen over others in the editorial process.
- How photographs/photography can inspire poetry.
- The challenges faced during the editorial process and in writing.
