Kick off a new year of SingPoWriMo with a bang and meet the moderators of SPWM18! Get to see faces both old and new alike, who will be joining you in another thirty days of prompt madness and poetry mayhem (or prompt mayhem and poetry madness)!

What you can expect: poetry readings OPEN TO ALL and FREE ice-cream! There will also be drinks and books all around (including a cat!) — what more could you ask for? Do expect:

• Poetry Open-Mic from 8pm onwards
• Ice-cream cart from 7.45PM to 8.45PM
• Drinks will be sold at the event
• Books sold at special prices

The opening party will be preceded by the launch of Joshua Ip's fourth collection, "footnotes on falling" at 7pm.
