PANEL SERIES: Difficult Women, by BooksActually

BooksActually's Great World City pop-up Read To Teleport is proud to present a series of panel talks titled "Difficult Women", which are split into the following sessions:

  • 2pm: Is "Being A Woman" an Obstacle? 
  • 3pm: "Being A Woman" in a Social / Workplace Setting
  • 4pm: Some things can't be written, said, or portrayed...
  • 5pm: "Difficult Women" Wrap Up!

Happening on 24 March 2018, "Difficult Women" discusses what it means to be a woman in this day and age, and the perspectives / differences in experience a woman may go through across various industries.

The event is named after Roxane Gay’s Difficult Women, which models after females who speak of privilege and poverty, are in marriages both loving and haunted by past crimes or emotional blackmail.

Join the following individuals across various industries for the panels: Melissa De Silva, Amanda Keisha Ang (ATTAGIRL), June Chua (The T Project), Shailey Hingorani (AWARE), Balli Kaur Jaswal, Grace Chia, Amillin Hussain, Indulekshmi Rajeswari.
