Ethos Books is proud to present a new series of literary talks titled Punchlines!, in which writers are given a specific topic and are forced to pick a side, take a stand, and thrash it out amongst themselves.
The theme / thesis of the first iteration of Punchlines! comes courtesy of publisher Fong Hoe Fang himself: do you agree that to be a good writer, one must have done bad things? Come down and watch as Amanda Chong, Deborah Emmanuel, Daryl Qilin Yam and more debate over this issue, in an exciting 90 minutes moderated by poet Aaron Lee.
