When you decide you want to build sandcastles, you also have to decide what must make way when the tide comes in. How do we deal with the ghosts that we create and how do we live with them? “For The Time Being” will take the audience on a musical journey to encounter these ghosts within our midst.
The 2015 Noise Singapore Award winners, The MadHatter Project, will be staging its first full-length showcase “For The Time Being” at 8pm on the 12th of May and at 3pm and 8pm on the 13th of May 2017 at 72-13 (72-13, Mohamed Sultan Road).
This is held in conjunction with Noise Singapore, a programme of the National Arts Council, and is jointly presented by The MadHatter Project and The Rooftop Sessions. A multi-disciplinary work, it will feature original music and staging by The MadHatter Project, visual art by artists Ho Zhen Ming and Ang Siew Ching, as well as the poems of award-winning poet Stephanie Dogfoot.
Through these artistic media, the interactive work explores spatial transitions, the sacrifices and compromises, and our reactions to them.
