“I love writing about marginalised people. I want to give voice to the voiceless.”
This edition of Cita Seni features Dr Faisal Tehrani, the current writer-in-residence at the NUS-NAC Writing Residency. His interest in human rights and dissent led him to an illustrious writing career that has spanned over two decades, producing works that have been highly lauded and met with controversy. Tehrani will share more on his career as well as his thoughts on Malay literature.
