The LKY Story – Lee Kuan Yew: The Man Who Shaped A Nation that is published in a manga format, is a tribute to Singapore’s late founding father and Minister Mentor Mr. Lee Kuan Yew. This manga is a collaborative effort between Japanese publishing company Shogakukan Asia and Japan’s manga authors to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Singapore-Japan relations.
The LKY Story – Lee Kuan Yew: The Man Who Shaped A Nation gives readers a glimpse into the life of Lee Kuan Yew before he made history. From his early years and education in Raffles College, to his experiences in World War II and his work as a lawyer, the events that shaped Lee Kuan Yew’s ideals would lead him towards championing the rights of the people and the fight for an independent Singapore.
